If you are experiencing difficulties with the support for Winamp, you can resolve this issue by opening the Winamp settings and selecting the "Control Headset" option. This solution works flawlessly.

It is important to note that the music player setting is only available after you have placed the widget, and not when running it from the launcher.

This universal music control widget has the capability to hide itself when there is no track playing. While it is primarily designed for use with the WidgetLocker Lockscreen, it can also be used on your homescreen.

Supported players include Stock and modded Android Music (2.3+ with Pro), Google Music (Pro only), HTC Music, MusicMOD, PlayerPro, PowerAMP, UberMusic (Fede's Music App; Pro only), BeyondPod (Pro only), Samsung TouchWiz (Pro only - Experimental), and nearly any other player in compatibility mode (Pro only) such as doubleTwist, Winamp, Meridian, ³/Cubed, MortPlayer, MIUI, Zimly, Songbird, Pocket Casts, Sony Walkman, n7 Player and more.

Features of this music control widget include auto-hide functionality with various hide/reveal settings, integration with WidgetLocker events, the ability to show or remove certain elements like volume control and current track info, nine graphical themes (including H7C which resembles Sense, Metro which has a WP7 style, Aero which resembles Windows 7's Media Player, MIUI style, Xperia style and Carbon), two chromeless themes inspired by Clockr and Calendr, battery saving mode with minimal energy consumption, localization support for 19 languages (some fully translated, some partially), and a DashClock Widget Extension. Developers can also utilize Phantom's wide range of controllable players through third-party apps.

Please note that not all players are supported and you will need to hold your finger on your home screen to place the widget. It cannot be found in the application drawer.
